The only reason a medical condition may impact the status of your application is if it is aggravated by your present accommodation (ex.: mould problems, etc.). If, and only if, you fit this requirement, you can ask your family doctor to fill out a special form describing and confirming your condition.  This form can be found HERE.  Print it, have it filled by your family doctor and attach it to your application.  You will need Acrobat Reader to view this file, download it HERE.
